What are eSports?

eSports stands for electronic sports which is a competitive sport like tournament based around team games.

eSports has only very recently started to grow so much and is still working out a lot of issues to be a concreate platform and idea.

so the first issue is

drugs in eSports  

as it is with real sports drugs use going into matches in eSports to boost performance is barred some of the banned substances include stimulants, narcotics, glucocorticoids.

the drug that has been the frontrunner in being barred from eSports however is Adderall this is because it increase focus, stamina, consistency, and playability.

drugs in eSports are treated just like in real sports but there have not been any official statement on regulated drug tests on the players 

while it is stated that its okay for players to take Adderall if they have a medical reason to have it prescribed anyone else should not be taking it or other drugs and best way to ensure this would be through drug testing.

the drug problem while not as prevalent anymore still needs to have regulation behind it. there is still controversy over drugs in it now and it is a sad thing to see. 

Illegal betting sites for eSports

where eSports is rather new the idea behind betting on it is also being worked on by the government and while they are working in the legal sense of betting many sites have opened that allow for illegal and unregulated betting on matches with money or in game items 

some of these sites have allowed for players on a team to bet on the other team and purposely throw the match to win which is problem itself.

the issues right now with not having legal betting fully in places is that that the government is having issues pinpointing where exactly eSports betting should fall under the law and what law might need to be changed.

shutting down these sites would prevent players from betting on their own games to purposely throw and win money as well which would fix one of the faulty aspects of eSports. 

the betting problem is a huge one as betting on sports has been a recent topic as well given time the true legal way to bet on eSports will be grounded and they can focus on taking down illegal betting sites more.

match fixing in eSports

have you ever thought that for wining the game people would go this extend?

last month the eSports integrity commission had launched an investigation against a few players and riot games is also investigating some of these player for match fixing in valorant. now ESIC has also already started the investigation and the situation has become very serious now because now the eSports orgs are being very cautions about who they sign in the fear that the players might be involved in match fixing.

This issue is very real because it takes only one incident to ruin the orgs name as well as the country's reputation.
